Biography

I am a PGR based in Leeds, at the University of Leeds in cooperation with the Univeirtsy of Tokyo working with Dr Susi Ebmeier, Prof. Andrew Hooper and Dr Yosuke Aoki. With our research, we are investigating volcanic activity and unrest in South East Asia using radar satellite data (SAR and InSAR) to retrieve deformation and topography changes of volcanic edifices. Linked to deformation retrievals we will model the magma storage of the target volcanoes to better understand their behaviour.

I previously completed my Masters in Volcanology at the University of Bristol where my master’s thesis focused on using a Raspberry Pi and a low-cost optical camera (FLIR Lepton) to measure volcanic ash emissions.
